Description
A Spa & Rec Sales Manager is responsible for securing groups and conventions by building and establishing relationships with customers. Hilton is looking for dynamic individuals who are well rounded and business minded. The Spa & Rec sales office in a hotel is a fast paced, everchanging environment and is a true launching pad for those who aspire to grow their careers in hospitality.
What will I be doing?
Partners with the Director of Wellness and Recreation in maximizing new room revenue streams, to meet and exceed lead generation goals. Represents Spa & Recreation in daily Sales Meetings. Point person for Site Visits along with Director of Wellness and Recreation. Represents Spa and Recreation in weekly Resume Meetings.
Primary point of contact with hotel meeting planners for sales and contractual process for spa sales and recreation activations. Primary point of contact in ensuring Spa and Recreation menus are updated with correct pricing. Promotes Spa and Recreation services and activities to Reservation, Sales, Events and Front Desk/Concierge teams.
Point person in selling Spa Memberships and managing Member Relationships.
Assist in monitoring revenue, costs and financial performance.
Trains, supervises, is MOD and collaborates with Spa and Rec leadership to ensure staffing for all contracted events and groups.
Represent the hotel in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relations with assigned accounts. Consistently strives to maximize revenue and profitability for all hotel revenue streams.
Develop a business strategy by analyzing historical, current and future hotel and market trends, implementing marketing initiatives to capture the maximum amount of lead revenue to meet and exceed sales goals.
Requirements
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum Years of Experience: Minimum of one year of Hotel experience in guest contact areas. Previous sales experience preferred.
Adaptable to schedule changes. Be present for buy out groups and large VIPs.
Highly professional presentations and oral and written communication skills.
