Description
Position Summary
The Spa Director is responsible for the overall leadership, daily operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team development of the Resort Spa. This role requires a hands-on leader who can build culture, drive revenue, maintain luxury service standards, and lead a large team with professionalism and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all spa operations, including front desk, service providers, attendants, retail, and leadership team
Oversee approximately 80–90 employees in a high-volume resort environment
Maintain exceptional guest service standards and luxury hospitality experiences
Drive financial performance, budgeting, payroll, labor management, and revenue growth
Recruit, train, mentor, and develop management and spa staff
Ensure operational efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with all company standards
Collaborate with Resort leadership on promotions, events, and strategic initiatives
Monitor scheduling, staffing levels, productivity, and guest feedback
Foster a positive and professional workplace culture focused on teamwork and accountability
Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of Spa Management experience required
Proven experience managing large teams and multiple department leaders
Strong background in operations, guest service, budgeting, and team development
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
Experience with guest service standards and hospitality culture
Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed
