Assistant Spa Manager
SeaHill Spa is seeking an experienced, polished, and guest-focused Assistant Spa Manager to support the Spa Director in the daily leadership and operation of our luxury spa.
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for helping ensure smooth daily operations, exceptional guest experiences, engaged and well-trained staff, effective inventory management, and efficient scheduling across the spa.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Spa Director in overseeing daily spa, front desk, retail, salon, and facility operations.
Lead and support the front desk team, including reservations, check-in/check-out, guest flow, and adherence to policies and procedures.
Provide front desk coverage and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
Assist with staff training, coaching, communication, and maintaining service standards.
Monitor daily and future bookings to identify scheduling opportunities, maximize provider utilization, and increase revenue.
Proactively identify booking or scheduling issues before they impact guests or staff.
Assist with inventory management, including monitoring retail and professional product levels, maintaining accurate counts, receiving and organizing orders, identifying discrepancies, and helping ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.
Ensure retail displays, reception supplies, and back-bar products are properly stocked and organized.
Ensure the spa, whirlpool, relaxation areas, and guest amenities remain clean, organized, and in peak condition.
Respond to guest concerns promptly and professionally and follow up on guest feedback and reviews.
Recognize strong employee performance and assist with team-building and employee engagement initiatives.
Assist with departmental meetings, operational follow-up, and implementation of new procedures.
Ensure employees follow spa policies, safety procedures, dress code, and standards outlined in the employee handbook.
Identify maintenance or repair needs and coordinate appropriate follow-up.
Stay current on spa industry trends and continually look for opportunities to improve the guest and employee experience.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is a confident, organized leader who is comfortable balancing guest service, staff leadership, scheduling, inventory management, problem-solving, and day-to-day operations. This person should be proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues before they become problems.
Experience in spa, hospitality, luxury guest service, salon management, inventory management, or a similar leadership environment is strongly preferred. Experience with Zenoti or comparable spa/salon management software is a plus.
