ABOUT US

Betty’s Bath & Day Spa was founded in 2000, in Albuquerque’s tree-lined and peaceful North Valley neighborhood. Betty’s remains true to its original concept: to provide Albuquerque residents and visitors with a relaxation and wellness retreat in a professional, welcoming, and friendly spa setting. We are known for our outdoor salt water hot tubs, massage and facials - housed in a minimalist and inviting setting. 

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 

As a contracted member of our team, your responsibility is to provide clients with skilled Acupuncture treatments (referred to as Acupuncture-Spa ) in line with our reputation of professionalism and experience. Option to attend paid training for spa treatments such as Warm Oil Scalp Massage and Feet Treat which could be added on to Acupuncture-Spa treatments. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

 Must be available to arrive to work with one hour lead time for contracted shifts if not already scheduled

 Responsible for being aware of scheduled appointments

 Must not call out for scheduled appointments more than three times per quarter. Finding coverage for yourself with a peer with the same skill set is acceptable. Excessive call outs may lead to termination of contract.

 Greeting clients and guiding them to scheduled treatment room

 Following protocols for Acuspa and optional  spa treatments  as outlined in Orientation and Spa Training to include set up, execution and clean up  Maintaining a professional and courteous attitude with all clients and staff

 Maintain personal hygiene and appearance congruent with our professional standards

HOURS

 Minimum 2 shifts per week required to maintain Independent Contractor status

Compensation:  Competitive percentage of services rendered with all supplies and overhead costs covered, tips, and an optional paid spa training for additional spa services which can be offered.

Schedule of Working Hours:  TBD by SPA and Independent  Contractor based on availability Betty’s is open Monday-Wednesday 9:30am-8:30pm, Thursday-Saturday 9:30am-9:30pm and Sunday 10am-7pm. When submitting your resume, please note current availability.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

•  Must be currently licensed in the state of New Mexico and hold an active license with the NCCAOM
•  Must hold liability and malpractice insurance
•  Must keep CPR card current and on file with Betty’s Bath & Day Spa
•  Available year-round, especially during holidays preferred
•  2 years experience preferred
•  Responsible, professional attitude
