- Director of Spa & Wellness
Description
The Spa & Wellness Director owns the guest experience, performance, culture and commercial health of the Oasis Wellness Centre. The role leads a multidisciplinary wellness team - including therapists, practitioners, supervisors and specialists - as one integrated leadership group and represents the Centre within the resort's senior leadership team. This is a hands-on, guest-facing leadership role that sets the service standard on the floor, coaches in the moment and translates the BodyHoliday wellbeing philosophy into a seamless, personalised daily experience.
The role is accountable for the full wellness journey: pre-arrival customisation, treatment and consultation experiences, movement and recovery programming, retail and membership opportunities, wellness events and the integration of wellbeing into the broader resort experience. The Director partners closely with the Assistant Wellness Centre Leader, Senior Practitioner & Wellness Experience Leader, BodyScience Doctor, Human Resources, Food & Beverage, Front Office, Concierge, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Housekeeping and Engineering.
The Director is also expected to strengthen the connection between wellness and the resort's food & beverage offering. This includes collaborating with culinary and F&B leaders on nutritious and wellness-aligned menus, special wellness dining experiences, treatment-related nutrition conversations where appropriate, healthy beverage concepts, culinary programming and guest education - ensuring that food and beverage reinforces, rather than sits apart from, the BodyHoliday wellbeing proposition.
Success requires the ability to balance guest wellbeing, exceptional service, team engagement, financial performance, commercial innovation, operational capability, regulatory compliance and the long-term integrity of the BodyHoliday brand.
