About the Role
The Director of Facilities oversees the full scope of our mechanical systems, electrical and plumbing infrastructure, thermal pools, saunas, steam rooms, outdoor grounds, and building upkeep. This position leads a skilled team of technicians and operators, manages preventative maintenance programs, coordinates contractors, and ensures full regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep experience in hospitality or resort environments, strong technical expertise, and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and pool operators.
Oversee HVAC, boilers, pumps, filtration, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Manage thermal waters operations, ensuring proper temperatures, chemical balance, and safety.
Coordinate preventative maintenance, contractors, inspections, and repairs.
Maintain grounds and facility assets, responding quickly to operational issues.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, and pool regulations.
Support capital projects, budgeting, and utility efficiency initiatives.

Requirements
Qualifications
7–10+ years in facilities or maintenance leadership (hospitality/resort preferred).
Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and water treatment.
Experience managing teams, budgets, and contractors.
Certifications in pool operations or building systems are an asset.
